Description & Process

At Stellar Integrated Eye Care, we assist patients with neuro ophthalmology vision problems related to the central nervous system due to brain injuries or disease, including trauma, stroke or infection.

Commonly, these smaller issues can lead to serious complications such as vision loss. Neuro ophthalmologists diagnose and treat neurological diseases that affect the slight movement of your eyes. Some treatments can include corrective lenses, botox injections and surgical procedures.

Common neuro ophthalmogical conditions

Common neuro ophthalmogical conditions affecting the eyes can be related to chronic conditions such as multiple sclerosis, diabetes, hypertension, and migraine, or injuries resulting from a concussion or fall.

Other conditions that require neuro ophthalmological evaluation include idiopathic intracranial hypertension. Intracranial lesions such as tumours, hemorrhages or aneurysms require urgent attention and management.

Contact us today to discuss how our specialists can help manage your eye health, including neuro ophthalmological conditions.
